  Flake ice is irregular in shape and thin; it has no sharp edges, so the surface of cooled objects will not be damaged; it has a large contact area and fast cooling speed; flake ice is easy to crush and has strong plasticity, making it widely used in food processing, fishery production, manufacturing, concrete cooling, and other fields. Flake ice machines can be divided into freshwater flake ice machines and seawater flake ice machines. Sea ice cutting machines are specifically designed for sea ice manufacturing operations, characterized by customer service, seawater corrosion, ship tilting, and swaying. Among them, seawater flake ice machines can be divided into seawater marine flake ice machines and seawater land flake ice machines.

  Ice making principle: The ice knife, spray plate, main shaft, and water collection plate rotate slowly in a counterclockwise direction under the drive of the reducer. Water enters the distributor from the water inlet of the ice maker, and is evenly sprayed onto the ice surface through the spray pipe, forming a water film. The water film exchanges heat with the refrigerant, causing the temperature to drop rapidly and forming a thin layer of ice on the ice surface. Under the pressure of the ice knife, it breaks into ice blocks and falls into the ice storage from the ice drop outlet. Some non-ice water flows back to the cold water tank through the water collection plate from the return water outlet and is circulated by the cold water circulation pump.

  Equipment features: The internal scraping ice knife can reduce energy consumption and prevent refrigerant leakage. The stainless steel material uses advanced processing equipment and heat treatment technology to ensure optimal heat transfer efficiency. The large-area drip tray design prevents dripping from the bottom of the evaporator. The photoelectric switch is directly installed at the bottom of the evaporator for fully automatic control of ice. Direct liquid supply, dry evaporation, simple control, and safe and reliable operation. Integrated modular equipment facilitates on-site installation and maintenance. The produced thin ice has uniform thickness, smoothness, cleanliness, and dryness. It is suitable for cooling and preserving seafood, fresh meat, and meat products in supermarkets, shopping malls, seafood restaurants, and food processing to keep products fresh. The dry surface of the ice cover avoids the possibility of scratching the surface of fish products, maintains the permeability of the underlying seafood, ensures the original flavor of the products, and prevents damage caused by dehydration and hypoxia.

  Flake ice machines are widely used in the food processing industry. After food is sterilized at high temperatures, it is quickly cooled by mixing ice and water to avoid bacterial growth and maintain the original flavor of the products; in modern chemical and dye processes, the diazotization reaction and coupling reaction of azo dyes can be controlled by adding ice to regulate temperature, effectively controlling the decomposition of diazonium salts.
